  1. Your flowers are crinums. In fact, they might be the ‘milk and wine’ variety, but I am not sure. I have some all pink ones in my garden and love it when the blooms show up.

  2. This is a bulb, so the beautiful flowers suddenly appear. If you live in Glenwood, you will notice that they suddenly appear on some of the islands in the roads, for example Lena Arends (Manning Road). They come up wherever they want to – pathways etc, and I leave them to grow wherever they like. Also known as the River Lily.
