Will my clivia survive inside?

Are clivia’s indigenous? I know they like shade – do you think it’ll survive in my house which has a lot of light due to the skylight?

Hi Kirst, I see no reason why it shouldn’t survive inside as long as it’s not getting a lot of direct sunlight – they like it dappled. Also remember they like to be well watered. Check out this site for some extra info https://www.plantzafrica.com/plantcd/cliviaminiata.htm

Clivias are most definitely indigenous. They are especially found out here rowing wild in the forests of the wild coast where its well mulched and gets good shade, so I reckon it should do well indoors!?
