Disas in bloom!

A couple of months back I went trail running on a Saturday morning near Hout Bay. The Disas were in bloom and I snapped some great pics of them. Disas like perennially wet conditions and are often found near waterfalls or in moist, shaded areas so the ravines we ran (ok, walked) up were the perfect environment As a Durbanite, this was my first encounter with these flowers. The Disa uniflora is apparently the most common, a red orchid also know as the Pride of Table Mountain with its peak flowering period during mid-February. I also snapped some pics of this much smaller, purple variety. Does anyone know what it is? Is it the male version of the Disa uniflora?
