Does anyone out there know of some indigenous plants that will survive in deep shade? Our flat is really, really dark and all of our pot plants eventually die.
It’s very upsetting! We have some ‘mother-in-law tongues’ that are doing quite well, but that’s about it. Please help!

Hi Kirsty
Plectranthus love shade and are beautiful (there are many varieties). I can give you cuttings from my garden.

Dietes Grandiflora do well, as do Plectanthrus zuluensis, and the little sedges.
