A friend has just left me in charge of a plant that she is very sentimental about. She has had it for ages and while she is away in Kenya for two months has left it in my care. Please help identify it and help me work out how much water it needs, if it likes full sun etc.
Thanks!

I have one of these plants and they are pretty hardy. I would water once a week and keep it out of full sun.
p.s. I think the plant would be happier in a bigger pot …
I also have one and pretty much ignore it and it thrives! I agree abou the bigger pot and once a week… Partial sun?

Kalanchoe mother of thousands.
Please take a look at this website for care
This plant is definitely a Kalanchoe of some sort, probably from Madagascar. It is a succulent so do not over-water. Water when it is almost dry. Make sure it is kept in a spot where it can get some sun or bright light or it will grow lanky. The little rosettes on the leaves are tiny plants and if you put them on the soil in the pot when they drop off, they will also grow.
