hi jean, whereabouts are you based? i would say the easiest way is to get a plant or seeds from a friend…
I stay in Meyerton. And I work in Germiston.
it grows really well from slips …
?? The thing is I do not know any body that has got this plant….so maybe you can help me in a direction to perhaps where I can get this plant or seed.
I am also looking for this, and the garden centres in Cape Town that I have called does not stock it 🙁
weird that it is so difficult to get hold of. My mother has had a plant for years and I’ve always just broken part of it off when I needed some. I guess we could post you some but not sure it would survive the South African mail!
Hi Mariska
If you’re in cape town, go visit Soil for Life in Constantia, I got myself a couple of plants there the other day.
If anyone sources comfrey in Johannesburg please let me know, I am also traveling to eastern cape at the end of October and would willingly go somewhere there to collect one.
