Cats in the Garden

I have a friend who is not sighted and is a keen gardener.

Her neighbours cats are driving her mad because of using her succulent garden as a toilet.

Any suggestions please. She has tried a few remedies but to no avail.

Thank you.

I’ve heard about putting eucalyptus essential oil on tea bags, and leaving them scattered about. The oil would need to be replenished on a regular basis.

    here is a plant option:

Plectranthus caninus is an herb in the mint family Lamiaceae, native to east Africa and southern Asia. Under the name “Coleus canina”, it is sold as a natural repellent to cats and dogs…

The plant is also known as “Scaredy Cat Plant” and “Piss-off plant”. These plants root nearly effortlessly from cuttings or from just touching the ground. They like full sun. If grown in the shade, their stems will elongate faster than new leaves growing, in search of more light.
