Segmented succulent

Anyone recognise this little succulent? I’ve had it for a few years now and love its segmented stem. Its quite unusual as I haven’t seen many of them around.

Hi Smile, They do well in the hot dry Valley Thicket so perhaps you should move it to a sunny spot

Sand plants always have thick leaves containing more water inside, it is may be the reason that they can grow well in the droughty place.
