A lovely young man lent me this enormous pot indefinitely and I would like it to make a statement at my front door.
All the other plants are succulents. Should I stay with the theme or fill it full of colourful flowers.
I would like to do it over Easter, any suggestions?

you could put the lovely young man in it..? a real feature! 😉
I would suggest to continue with the succulent theme… how about a Spekboom?

To save on potting soil fill the lower part of the pot with broken up pieces of polystyrene. A pot full of flowers is always a mood lifter so that has my vote you could also add a really beautifull selection of bulbs – Happy Planting
i like shaggy’s idea. keep with the theme.. what about a selection of succulents that would spill out of the pot..?
I’m not sure – maybe a selection of flowers would contrast with the succulents?
I think an aloe that could grow up to fill the pot… It is a lovely pot.
What a lovely young man.
Thank you Vicki for the advice on pot filling. Is polystyrene not harmful to the plant atall?
good question – how does polystyrene react with water and soil?
