I’ve just spent a few days in Cape Town, a city half my family and friends have moved to. It is easy to see why. This time of year, the weather is amazing and nature – in the form of walks on the mountain or beaches – is only minutes away.
I also spent a great day at Kirstenbosch National Gardens, nestled at the foot of the mountains and photographed the amazing succulent house and fynbos gardens, which I will be blogging about in the next few days.

Great Photos Niall
thanks Shaggy! I had borrowed a killer lens from mol-d which may have helped but you can’t really go wrong with scenery like that 🙂
i agree! great pics! B-)
I live in a “bowl” city, too. Ocean on one side and mountains on the other. I think that’s where the similarities end. We are an arctic desert so everything here is covered in snow. Love the boulders on Lion’s Head!

I can almost see our old house on that picture. Olifantskop in my header, is the same Table Mountain sandstone, just 2 hours drive away!
Beautiful photos of our beautiful “Mother City”the fairest Cape in all the world
