Sunday Tour & Tea and Land Art workshop for high schools

What’s on at the Durban Botanic Gardens in April and May:

Join us for another in the series of the popular Sunday Tour & Tea guided walks that take place at the Gardens on the last Sunday of the Month at 9:30am. On the 25th April we explore the role of gardens and plant conservation.

On Saturday 22 May we invite all interested high school learners to join us for an innovative land art workshop run by members of the Durban and Coast Horticultural Society. Members of our local City Scouts will also be taking part.

At the Durban Botanic Gardens Visitors Complex on Thursday 3rd December at 17h30 this provocative documentary film will be screened – a passionate and urgent call for all of us to prevent the overwhelming consequences of climate change. The Age of Stupid features Oscar-nominated actor Pete Postlethwaite who looks back from the year 2055 to find out why it was that people in 2009 did nothing to stop the eco-catastrophe that was staring them in the face.
