I submitted a photo of a flower of an aloe in Oct last year. I have managed to get hold of a stem of the plant that may assist in the positive ID of the Aloe. Have a look.

Hi All, finally got a positive ID on the strange looking Arum. It’s called Arum palaestinum. Common names Black calla, Solomon’s lily or Jerusalem lily. Found the ID in ‘The South African What Flower is That?’ by Kristo Pienaar. Thanks to all.
