These bromeliads are in my brother’s garden. I think they only flower once a year? They are almost luminous in colour!

I have these great plants growing wild all over my garden. I think that they’re great, but my housemate is concerned that they’re not indigenous. Will my clivia survive inside?
Are clivia’s indigenous? I know they like shade – do you think it’ll survive in my house which has a lot of light due to the skylight?

Mother-in-law’s tongue
