We spotted this tree at the Durban Botanic Gardens this week. It has these awesome flowers and fruit. Any guesses what it could be?

Crab Apple?
Cant be a fig – figs dont produce external flowers, the flowers are enclosed within the fruit and pollinated by fig wasps which enter through the tip.
I imagiine it could be – Syzygium samarangense or Rose apple relation to the Australian Brush cherry -
