Stop Talking, Start Planting…

With COP approaching, climate change is a hot topic in KZN.

There is an exciting event happening at Durban Botanic Gardens (Visitor’s Centre) on Saturday the 23rd of July (9am to 2pm), a ‘Plant-for-the-Planet Academy (Stop talking, start planting)’, a one-day event, where 180 children (between the ages of 9 -14 years) are trained as ‘Climate Justice Ambassadors’. Ideally 10 – 15 learners are chosen from various schools to attend the academy (learners must be accompanied by an educator). You can download more information HERE. Please find some background information attached. If you are interested in attending this very worthwhile event, please contact Carlene Kidwell on email.

Looking forward to seeing you and your learners there.

Kind Regards,

Bev
