Image taken in Glenwood, Durban. I have two pots of these. One each side of the steps to the front door. Such a cheerful welcome.
From Anne Lloyd.
Beautiful! What are they?
they look like a succulent groundcover, but can’t remember they name.
When we bought them we thought they were a portulaca. Ooops have I spelt that right. But they are different from the usual portulaca we have in the garden.
Just lovely. I think in Afrikaans they are called “vygies” which is a succulent ground cover but these being in a pot they just spread out in the sunshine! and I’m sure they sometimes flower multicoloured all on one plant. So cheerful.
Can anyone please let me know the name of this plant. thank you
