Spekboom Seeds

Does anyone know if the Spekboom plant produces seeds? And where I might get some?

    I’ve only ever grown Spekboom from cuttings however I have seen it flower profusely so I assume it must produce seeds?

    Just ask nicely next time you see a plant. You only need a tiny bit. A few leaves will root if they fall to the ground!

    It does flower profusely and produces many seeds. Seeds should be picked when ripe i.e. when they start ‘paragliding’ off the plant. Don’t know where you can buy them from seed – find a plant and make some cuttings. Cuttings are much faster, and more forgiving. Visit the Eastern Cape, its home!
