BirdLife Port Natal photographic exhibition – on until the 27th October

Check out the BirdLife Port Natal photographic exhibition, and hosted in conjunction with the Durban Natural Science Museum (City Hall, Anton Lembede/Smith Street). The exhibition simultaneously highlights the recent upgrade and improvements to the bird hall at the Museum. Members of the club were invited to contribute their best bird photographs and a panel of experts have chosen the 30 most outstanding of these to be on display. In addition, all the photographs submitted will be presented as a slide show on plasma screens. Young visitors to the BirdLife Port Natal stand at the annual Plant Fair at the Botanic Gardens in September 2010 contributed their art work on birds to the club and these works of art will also be on display during the exhibition.
