Neighbourhood produce

A couple of months back we made a permaculture garden for my neighbour Jelly, to celebrate her birthday.  It took us a Sunday afternoon and we actually filmed a permaculture how-to video at the same time (Rose is currently editing it and we’ll post it here shortly).

Being a bit of hippie, Jelly placed crystals around the garden.  Now, I’m not sure if its the crystals or the carefully prepared soil, but the garden has taken off – so much so that I am now heading over every evening to harvest something for dinner.  Here are a few photographs of possibly the healthiest plants in the world.

    Hi Colleen

    Check it out here http://www.sprig.co.za/2009/10/permaculture-food-garden-2-0/

If you have any questions post them as comments on the blog. It is surprisingly easy and very rewarding. Good luck!
