Apart from Moses Mabhida being the best stadium in South Africa, it also has some pretty cool landscaping. Indigenous trees and plants have been used to soften the structure, creating a grassland with groves of trees. I like it a lot!

A project of McN2.

What great garden shots Patrick. I like them a lot.
Indeed, what fabulous aloes, at this rate I might even go there, to see the plants.
the planting has taken so well! definitely softens the structure. it’s a great place ti visit pi, i can fully recommend the sky car thingy, R50 for one of the best views in durban. you won’t regret it!
Thanks Emme, that might swing it, I’ve been cross with a municipality that spent so much on this while more than half the city lives in shacks, etc. And a couple more generations will be footing this extravagance. At least nature still endures
i love the tunnel leading from the stadium to sun coast as well-it has mosaics of indigenous plants on it,along with their names, all very prettily done, and a nice informative touch i thought.
yes, that tunnel is great. I should snap some shots of it next time I am down there.
