I was hoping to post something ghoulish or freaky (and nature-related) for Friday the thirteenth.
Instead, here are some pictures of the swallows at Mount Moreland at sunset. I suppose as the sun sets and the sky turns into a black, circling mass, it can feel quite eerie. If you haven’t yet experienced the roosting of the swallows, you’ll have to wait until later this year when they return from Europe. It is definitely worth it.
