An unhappy aloe

Hi Spriggers!

My aloe looks unhappy… Any idea why?

It’s kind of blotchy and the tips are dying. I thought I was watering it too much, but I’ve stopped that and it still looks bleak.

Help please!

    I agree with Elephant’s Eye, it almost looks pot bound.

    Huh, I hadn’t thought of that.
    It just spent 6 months with a friend, who put it in full sunlight (hence the orange colour).
    I put it in full sun when I got it back, but then it looked like this so I’ve moved it to partial sun.
    Maybe it just needs more space…

    whatever happened to this aloe? did it survive?
