Amazing orange leaves

I was in Swaziland, at the Mkhaya National Park, when I saw this amazing tree with these deep, orange leaves.  I don’t know much about the tree but have always loved the photograph so I thought I’d share it.

Amazing orange leaves.

This could be the Fiddlewood tree known to grow in Natal but does well in Gauteng.

    Hi Esther and Milez

This is definitely not the common Fiddlewood found in KZN; not the correct leaves. But there are more than on species and in that family.

It looks more like a Yellowwood’s leaves to me, a dead one to be exact. They can turn orange like that when dead.

The Fiddlewood is an exotic, country of origin the West Indies, I think.
